British Bluebox Optics launches niji module LED light source for fluorescence microscope

According to foreign media reports, the UK's scientific testing and measurement equipment private company Bluebox OpTIcs has launched a new flagship product - niji module LED light source for fluorescence microscope. With up to seven LED channels, the system provides powerful multi-wavelength excitation with a range of UV and far red light.

With this niji light source, the user only needs one LED to operate normally. Then, up to 6 LEDs can be added through the modular host to increase options such as excitation center wavelength, excitation band, and output power when needed.

The Niji source provides an optional LED drive mode with constant optical power and constant current. These modes enable fast imaging and long-term high excitation power stability. In addition, users can control wavelength, power and transmit channels individually or simultaneously.

According to Bluebox OpTIcs, niji is fully compatible with most standard microscopes, MicroManager, MicroManager 2 and various other software packages.
